(1) If any official or employee visiting for the purpose of availing facilities under this regulation is found to have received payment by submitting a false statement, the double amount of the amount received by submitting the false statement shall be deducted from the salary he would have received if he was in government service. will be taken and he will be punished.
(2) In case of non-deduction as per sub-rule (1), recovery shall be made from the salary of the officer or employee who does not make such deduction and departmental action may also be taken against him.
(3) If such amount cannot be recovered according to sub-rule (1) or (2), then such amount shall be recovered as government debt.
